Can I use my Canzoomer (which is an Emanage) for the Greddy engine management, or is there a special version of the Emanage for turbos?

 

Why would you when it comes with the emanage?

 

If you already have an canzoomer, it would be nice to have the option of keeping that and it's install inside the ecu box.

I do not think the Canzoomer can control boost or some other settings that turbos need. Canzoomer can only control AFR and Ignition Advance.

 

Yes, my existing Canzoomer/Emanage software shows turbo stuff, but it's greyed out. So, it does have the hardware/software 'hooks' for a turbo app.

 

It's still an E-manage inside, so you can enable that feature easily.

 

That is what I was saying. The software you are using to access the emanage shows the turbo stuff greyed. I do not believe the acutal hardware to control those things is installed on it. PM Canzoomer or hit his website or give him a call to find out for sure. Last I heard though the answer was no.

 

You can use the canzoomer for turbo but would suggest to have it rewired like the greddy emanage that comes with the turbo kit to be able to use that map. The current injector wiring works best for na. You would also need to add a boost sensor.

 

The Canzoomer is not wired for injector control......so you would have to rewire it to use the map for the turbo. It can be done fairly easily if needed...but y bother??

 

I completely concur. Just sell the CZ when you get the kit. Internally, there is no difference, but why bother with the wiring? It is a PITA.
