I know the turbos are out but are the superchargers?


and if so could someone please give me a link to a supercharger.

 

Only one turbo is out right now..the Greddy. The SSR/SFR unit is coming out, as is the PTP Motorsports unit. For the superchargers I have seen some info on the Pettit Racing, & Blitz units. Sunflower Mazda was looking at an ATI Procharger unit, but that hasn't been seen in a long time. You might want to try a search on the board. Blitz website doesn't have much info. So, now that this thread has been dead for over half a month now, I am curious what are real opinions. What is better for an RX8, a turbo or a supercharger?

In other words, which is LESS bad for your car, and which increases your 1/4 mile/ 0-60 speeds.

I've heard turbos aren't bad for your car, YOU"RE bad for your car. Kinda like guns don't kill people, people kill people argument... is this true? I'm of the ignorant opinion that a turbo won't hurt your car anymore than you will by gunning it all the time. Would love for Rotarygod to reply at somepoint!
