Had the privilege of pushing her ~900 miles today ...roundtrip ...picking up my son from university. Pushing her at 75 - 85 mph, passing *at will* with nonchalant ease..., still puts a huge smile on this grown man's face.
.
Well she's lost compression on the rear rotor. My fault ...had a lot going on... loss in the family, etc., had been on a long road trip, on which I drove her moderately knowing she wasn't on her normal E35 elixir. I returned home, forgot I hadn't put her back on mix, and got aggressive. Smh.
It has been a great journey: loads of fun, learning, and great times; but after much consideration... I've decided it's time for me to move on. I'll be letting her go ...hoping to find an 8 enthusiast / lover who will continue &/or improve on what I've already done. For sale post coming soon.

Would be interested to know ...did you hear a detonation ? If so, was it high in rpm range above 6000 ?
Apologies guys.. been a busy day. Appreciate everyone's expressions of condolences.

No, I'm planning to sell her as is. There w/b no question: someone w/b getting a single owner, well kept, great car and potentially many extras w/a blown engine. Simple.

Yes, and yes..., but not full WOT. Lost rear rotor compression, but there was a silver lining: she got me home driving on front rotor only. I validated it via compression test a few days later.

Thanks for that ... And yeah , I've driven home more than once on one rotor !
can’t help but wonder if AI would have been the difference in not reaching this catastrophic conclusion.
I’d strongly suggest that anyone else boosting a Renesis to install and use the std. 50/50 boost juice mix, but even straight water would be better than nothing at all.

It has been amazing following you along on your journey. All the best! Hopefully she can continue her journey as a boosted 8.
Dodo23, Thanks , I appreciate your kind words. I couldn't / wouldn't have done it without the resources and guidance I received from individuals on this forum - many listed in my first thread post. I hope that my journey, good / bad / & ugly, has been a positive contribution to that reservoir of knowledge, experience, and good will.
