I have a flat long interstate entry in which i can get from 30-100 ok on--i have to shift--3nd to 4th? Can that be used?
Right now replacing power window motor and regulator in my sons Mini Cooper S--1st time doing this and it is a head banger.
Fun later today or even tomorrow

Ok guys I dont know how to do a screen shot transferred from my dude so here are some numbers---you can believe them or not:
30.4 mph
2748 rpm
@307.0 sec
80.1 mph
7172 rpm
313.0 sec
maf max of 338.5
load 181
I am on oem size tires
Lets see you finds the something "different".
It was a 3nd gear run---all I had room for--pretty congested around here on Sundays.

OD your gearing in 3rd (with the S2 g/box) must be very close to mine
This is an old log :
2636 rpm
29.1mph
413.2 s
7100 rpm
79.4mph
419s
So **5.8s**
can't remember tyre size for that run - probably 245/40/18

Londons Yellow Peril
don't forget to adjust speeds for diferring tyres and wheel sizes! Your speedo on OBD II is assuming its running on 18s with 225/45s..
I should dig my logger out and do this at some point!

S2 box is the right answer --ding, ding, ding!!!
So I am geared a little taller than the cars with the s1 box--hince the lower rpm.
I have oem tire size
For those that do not know--i have the Pettit system with approx 9lbs of boost.
w/m also--not tuned for w/m ----only insurance purposess .
Now guys remember there are too many variables to really compare car--to car---but it IS fun.

/\ easiest way :
With the image on sceen click the 'print screen' button on your keyboard
Go into MS paint and click edit then paste
Then click 'file' then 'save as'
In the top box save to 'desktop'
At bottom of box give file a name
Change file type to Jpeg
Click 'SAVE'
Now you have the image on your desktop and can import it into your post via the 'go advanced' button .
If you wanted it to be full sized you then save it into your photobucket account and inport it from there
Good luck
