After tuning.

@8psi.
Still needs some touches, I was too tired to get it done in one day... it's running a lot smoother.

I'm still having 2 minor issues with the damn tune. It bogs (a/f is steady so its not cutting fuel?) when the car is slowed down in gear below 2k and it tends to lean out during the slow down between 3-2.7k (fuel is cutting?)
Other than that, shieeeet :]

I have to say ray is really good at this ... it ran ok but now it runs like stock... love it. bart maybe if you are close to MD might want to try RAY.

Now crank up the boost a couple more PSI and you'll be waxing those '06 STi's and M6's (from a roll anyway...

I can see it now. Much nicer curves now. Did your peak numbers come down for safety? Might I suggest water/meth injection. Makes me want to trade in my WRX and boost up an rx8. not enough though.
How come your revs don't go all the way up to 9K?

I just ran my friend that bought an 04 WRX with GReddy turbo and FMIC and blah blah. not even close to me. His exhaust is back to stock since the dealership had to make it "street legal." But I almost felt bad for how nasty it was. Then we saw our friend in his s2k with invidia ti-cat back and injen CAI. That was just sad.
i still want an 8. soo sexilicious. all it needs is boost and some more modding love to get about perfect. None of the 8s i've come across even stay in the mirror, too bad.

Well I have been driving an 06 STI since late July. I am right now running the Cobb Access port stage 1, so I am making about 325 hp and 340 lb/ft torque. All I gotta say is damn. I tried and spent so much on the 8, and this STI would have no trouble eating my 8 for lunch any day of the week. I'm gonna pick up the 8 again I think at the end of this week or next. Seriously though, the 8 was a blast, but for such little effort this STI is so much quicker. Also, when I get a full TBE I can load the stage 2 map and make 380 tq and 355 hp. People with just the TBE, stg 2 map and a protune at a reputable tuner are making 341 whp and 361 wtq. That's sum pretty sick power for a stock turbo. Maddog, I bet ur 8 at 12psi can move pretty dang well and could mess with quite a bit from a roll, but this STI is a whole other animal.

Actually, I eat '06 STi's with Cobb tuning all the time. They are quicker off the line (damn all wheel drive) but I'm ahead by a car at the end of the 1/4 mile. From a roll its not even funny. I dust them every time.

What are ur qtr mile times at the strips? I'm sure the awd's tend to slow down at the end due to parastic loss. Could be driver related issues as well cus even from the factory, well here's the times.
