Eagle Turbo in RX8?

The time has to come to go FI, and a friend of mine pulled his stock turbo from his Eagle Talon to put in a bigger turbo.. can i put the stock turbo into the RX8, even if i have to do a custom piping or anything.

oh boy, where to begin...
you can put just about any turbo in this car provided you do the custom piping, make / buy a proper exhaust manifold and tune it accordingly.

the question is: is the eagle Talon's little turbo an efficient choice for the RX8.
find out what turbo it is (size / make)
look up specs
compare that to specs posted here (search) and go from there.

well the 2nd gen t-25 will spool faster than the 1 st gen 14b but the 1st gen will make more power.

Jeff or one of the other guys with more turbo experience will chime in soon. Im still looking for the maps.

If Ive got this right then the 14b is actually a TD05-14b

in which case I think you'd be better with the 14g.

right? Sorry Im not helping much today. Im a little foggy like I didnt sleep well

Edit- The t25 is too small

What are all the turbine specs? Probably way too small for a rotary.

That's way too small...you should want a Stage V wheel in a T3, which is like 2.8" inducer and 2.4" exducer.

As mentioned those are too small. T3/T04E(s) are an inexpensive alternative. Send me a pm if your interested in one.

For what it will cost to do it right you could buy a Talon TSI AWD and mod that

I had to lol, cause it's true. For the price of modding an 8 you could get pretty high numbers out of the talon.
