Here are a couple of superchargers that are currently available for the RX8. Read up on them and make your choice. Most here have chose the Pettit supercharger.

You are not likely to get too many serious posts now with a title like that. I would suggest that you close this thread and open a new one after you have search and can't find your answer.

They claim 1 psi more intake pressure for all engines under 5 liters. First of all that claim is crap. You are honestly going to tell me that it can produce 1 psi of boost pressure on a 1.6 liter Civic engine and also product 1 psi of boost on a 5 liter Ford engine? At what rpms? Get real! It isn't going to happen.
Next let's look at the current draw. It draws roughly 800 watts of power. That equals about 1.1 hp of current draw. How much do you really think you'll get back from this small amount?
This things uses fan blades and not compressor blades. Big design difference. Sure it may be able to push 800 cfm of air but that's at no pressure. Once you try to use it to pressurize, all you're going to do is restrict it. It isn't flowing 800 cfm anymore. If your little engine only requires 275 cfm of flow to make it's full n/a horsepower, logically it would make WAY more power with 800 cfm of flow. Notice it can only claim to make 1 psi of boost. That's crap. That's not 800 cfm of flow.
Personally I wouldn't spend $300 on nothing more than an overglorified computer fan especially when there is nothing about it that should work and when their claims don't even back up fact. I'm not very quick to believe their test results. Remember they are trying to sell a product. Of course they'll show a gain! There are many people that have bought these and proven they don't work.
