emu upgrade kit HELP

OKay so ive got an 04 with the greddy turbo kit. i just got back from iraq, and while over there i purchased the emu upgrade kit, when i got back i installed it. it worked okay for a couple days, now it wont start. i took it to have some exhaust work done, the tech that was going to drive it into the shop flooded it, and the car hasnt started since. ive pulled the plugs out cleaned them and replaced them, nothing. i KNOW im getting spark to at least one trailing plug. WHAT is going on here? Im getting so frusterated with this car,,, i cant think of anything else to try. someone please share some info on this.

if you flooded it you may wanna try this... idk if this is correct but this what i did...

i sprayed the winshield wiper fluid into the housing (check the DIY deflood in the DIY section)
that didnt work.. so i use jumper cables... from my car to another car...foot on the gas in neutral nad let it crank for about 15-20 seconds at a time... kept doing this and you'll start hearing the car cathc,,, as it id i let go of the gas on and off depending on how it sounded.. after a few tries a HUGE white cloud of smoke came out and it started

I had...possibly still have the same problem. Had to pump the gas pedal to make it start. I took it to tri-point, and they eventually had greddy send me a new emanage ultimate and new harness, in addition to changing my plugs and de-flooding the engine. Car worked fine as soon as the new unit was installed.

you need to competely replace the plugs, you cant just clean them. That being said, the shop did it under their care, its their problem to pay for.

I was getting my car painted once, and the shop flooded it also. Apparently they had never had an rx8 before. Needless to say, they paid for it to be fixed and from then on my car was under "special supervision" to prevent further costs to the bodyshop.

Welcome back from Iraq, take it to a reputable dealer and tell them that you are having a hard time starting your car // flooded your engine....so forth. They will have AAA dispatch a flatbed to your location and pick it up. Then they will depending where you are at...um replace your battery, plugs, and starter. The new starter really mad a big difference. The car starts so easily. BTW, I had the same problem and same configuration as you (turbo..etc).

Best of Luck,

Thank you for the welcome back, Yeah i had the starter replaced about a month before i left, they put the newer one in. (spins faster is what they told me if i remember correctlly) worked good until i put the emu upgrade in. I put a brand new optima red top in the day i got back cause the old battery died while i was gone. The guy i had watching it was supposed to drive it about once a week or so, but i doubt he did... i did have the car towed to the dealer, havent heard back yet, kinda stressin out about it, ive got an appt to take it in to the tuner shop here tomorrow, to see if they can put a good tune on it since i cant seem to get a very good one, i was also gonna have them put my E-o1 in it... ill update as i can thanks for the help everyone

My car was flooded dead, and nothing helped until Rotarygod suggested that i hook the car up and drag it in tow.
I pulled the fuel pump fuse out, hooked the car to a SUV and dragged it around until it stopped smoking and backfiring. It had quite a bit of fuel in it.
After that, the car started normally and was working since.

Okay,so now the cars idleing a little better, but when it gets warmed up it starts to idle worse, and by the time it gets to operating temp, if you tap the gas it dies. Whats up with this now. also had a couple questions about putting the profec e01 on with the e manage ultimate. exactlly how much does the e01 communicate with the ultimate? the ultimate dosent need the pressure sensor with a boost controller installed right?

the ultimate needs the pressure sensor to know when you're in boost. it takes over the fuel management when it sees you're in boost, so if you remove the pressure sensor, it will never activate.

your boost controller will regulate the wastegate, it's really not related to the ultimate.
