I have a dyno date on thursday @ 3pm

For reference:

My car with intake, supercat, exhaust, pullies, and flywheel = 203 hp
My car with intake, catless, exhaust, flywheel, 17 lb wheels, pullies, flywheel, RB flash = 207 hp

WoodsofGreen's Rx8 on the same dyno pulled these numbers=

Car w/ midpipe, intake, pullies, exhaust: 198.2whp & 133.4wtq (loud, but leaned it out)

Car w/ stock cat, intake, pullies, exhaust: 193.0whp & 133.0wtq ( so quiet once again!)

I guess for just ***** & giggles & maybe to go deaf, they ran the car w/ no exhaust & got 202whp... ha. Thats funny. When Im not lazy I'll go ahead and upload the graphs..

My Oil Feed/Pressure Setup

Ok, so there was a little drama with me trying to drill the included sandwich plate out to accept the mechanical oil temp gauge from the Racing Beat gauge kit.

The included oil plate in the Esmeril kit will work just fine with electrical gauges, but the Racing Beat kit comes with a mechanical gauge that has a 3/8NPT sender.

Here is the easiest solution that I could come up with:

You need these parts

1/8 NPT male-male straight "run" adapter - $1.99
http://www.jegs.com/i/Earl's/361/991101/10002/-1

1/8 NPT to -3AN 90 degree elbow (for stainless braided line) - $6.99
http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/100140/10002/-1

1/8 All Female T - $9.99

It really depends on his tune. What kind of dyno are you running on, Dan? All the numbers from this dyno seem to read a little high, too.

I'm going to be conservative and say 310-rwhp and 250 ft-lbs of torque.

Its a mustang dyno. Most numbers were achieved by my dyno method outlined in the sticky thread "DIY how to dyno the rx8"

My tune is ultra conservative. at 50+ degrees ambient it will run 10.2-10.7 with like 5 degrees advance.

at 30 degrees ambient it will run 10.6-11.5

Pretty much, but then again I am being conservative after hearing about his tune. Dan's tune is perfect for being a safe tune, but there is still a lot left of the table, fueling, ignition, and boost wise.

I fully understand his being conservative, tho. I would be too.

I think so, they called me and said that they were having problems with that G35 thats on the dyno right now. Its tentatively at 3pm today, but they said that they may bump me to friday or saturday if they can't get the g35 done.

Its supposed to snow tomorrow

Call me if you have any issues with dynoing the car although you should be better at that than most on this forum
