Version 2 won't fit the esmeril kit, and probably have a tough time with other top mount kits. Fan is raised about 1.5 inches in this version, no washers necessary.
I haven't held a v3 in my hands yet so I couldn't tell the specifics of it.

The difference between v1 and the stock, is stock is 1/2 the size, and the stock has a rounded plastic top and bottom reservoirs so the bolts just go into a specially made indentation for them in the plastic. The BHR has a flat all metal construction with no divets so either a) smaller screws or b) washers are necessary.

Its nice that I have one of the first installed BHR MT radiator and mine fits just fine. Of course Ray installed it so I don't know what crazy customizations he did to make it fit. All I know is that I have not seen coolant temps over 194 with it and the Mazmart pump.

I'd just like to add, that ever since I installed the turbo kit, I have started using Lucas Fuel Additive, its a cheap easy to find premix that won't hurt your O2 sensors. Just a squirt in the tank before I fill up and I'm good! Its like $8 for a quart that will probably last me 3-4 months.

I agree....although I'm just having my shop put black mesh in the bottom grill which is an inexpensive cosmetic solution so I don't ahve to spend more money and get a bodykit

Cool, I found it at the Autozone near my work but the guy working there wasn't sure if I should use it with a rotary engine. So you just put a squirt in when you fill up and it helps keep internals clean or something? I don't run my 8 hard all the time, but I didn't buy it to go slow either!

I've been using it in my N/A 8 for 6 months now with no problems. I bought a 5 oz bottle of it and a a 32 oz bottle and just refill the 5 oz bottle after I use it.

Another pretty worthwhile mod I have found for ANY rx8 is getting an oil catch can. Its one of the best investments you can make in your RX8 to avoid your shutter valves sticking from oil fumes.

I ordered my Magnecor wires yesterday. I just called them (248-471-9505) and told them I wanted the same wire lengths for the rx8 application but with LS2 coil connectors on the coil side. for the 1 cm race wires it was $144 shipped.
PS - if you are going to crimp your own connectors for the coils, 16 awg wire doesn't really fit with the weathertight seals, it will tear them apart when you try and assemble the thing. 18 gauge wire is sufficient for this purpose, but if you wanted the beefiness of 16 gauge you can use RTV silicone to seal the wires instead of their little yellow weather seals. I just need to fab a bracket and splice in the new connectors and I can get these things in!
