Fuel Pump Solution - All Failure Modes

I zoom therefore I am.
FP gauge seems to be pretty rare for FI guys, why is that? To me it seems like a pretty necessary gauge for safe FI. Maybe i'm missing something...

I've read of people tying FP readings to kill switches and that just sounded unsafe (and i've only read about it being used in race applications), I like the idea of FP tied to the wastegate. That little nugget is going into my FI file.

at one point in time, the entire 'gauge monitoring' ordeal on this forum was to monitor 3 specific items: oil temp, oil pressure, and water temp.
Lots of people, including myself, jumped in that direction even for FI. Well, that and a boost gauge. I don't know why I did so myself. I would have gotten the fuel pressure sensor to hook up to my camp2 already, but I've stopped the car mod purchases until I figure out what's going on with my car.
I really like the idea of having the fuel pressure tied to the wastegate, is that entirely implemented with the E-01 or did you have something rigged for it?

Comes stock with the CRH nitrous install :p
BTW not to suck up (ok maybe a bit) ... BHR offers a very cool Fuel Line Adapter ... hooks right up to the OEM lines without having to cut in to them ....
Was thinking of upgrading my fuel pressure setup with this.

Yes, this is key.
I also have the FP gauge from Autometer with a warning function. http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...id=3917&sid=75 to be exact.
This will flash and change color at a preset PSI, as well as control 3 analong oputputs to do cool stuff like what Jeff does. I have considered running one to an ignition kill switch, but so far I haven't seen it drop below 58PSI on my car. It flashes color at 55 to let me know to come off it.

Thanks - I thought there were real issues
Yes i have had the problem and replaced the pump about 80000 ks ago and its failing again . I do huge K's and can sit in my car for 3 hour stretchers. WA is a big place,
Any way I didn't know what it was and I was miles from nowhere. car stopped and it just was able to be restarted and i continued. It continually worsened and would would happen more on a half or less tank. I was just turning the motor off while i was driving ,turning it back on letting it kick start. Very dangerous if I did it while I was passing
I will get the issue fixed the way you prescribed
Thanks again

Considering double Fuel Pumps in RX-8
I continue to suffer from fuel starvation even after imstalling the Walbro fix so I am planning to add a 2nd fuel canister/pump assembly into the passenger side of the stock tank. The cross tank line would be disabled and the outflow lines would be 'Y'd to a single line to the fuel rail.
Has anyone tried this or have comments?
Thanks.
