GOOD NEWS....4 me
I just wanted to tell sum1 bc I'm excited, so I figured why not tell the other rx8 people on the forum right?? Anyway, they started my car today and everything seems to be ok. Idle is at about 800, and its holding about 15 inches of vaccum. But, when they revved it up, it still was giving problems past about 3/4 throttle. There gonna try and do sum tuning in the next little bit to straighten it out. I'm thinking that the 2ndary injectors are just flooding it w/ gas when the throttle is more than 3/4. I'm curious, do the 2ndary injectors come in at 7500 or so regardless of how much throttle is givin or only under heavier throttle? Thanks.

thanks for the thread maddog (once again ur there for every1). I'm supposed to head down tomorrow and maybe pick up the car. They drove it day before yesterday and straightened out the bucking problem. They said they put it in 3rd and at 1500 rpms gave it full throttle and the turbo spooled instantly and accelerated with no lurching or bucking and held 5.5 psi throughout, which makes me feel good to know that the E-manage is working properly. But, there is oil getting into the BOV, and we think it's the return line b/c it's kinked at about 90 degrees and backing it up. Anyhow, there gonna replace the return line and hopefully that fixes it. If not, it could be a prob w/ the turbo, but since the turbo has hardly been used i seriously doubt that's the problem. I'll let yall know what happens tomorrow, peace.

I have custom fit 3mm seals. They won't lower the engines compression necissarily but they are stronger seals and can take more boost comfortably. Hopefully they'll increase the longevity of the motor with the turbo. But I found out today that they mounted the boost gauge next to the steering column and the afr gauge is for now temporarily in the glove box mounted with sum velcro but I'll figure out a permanant set up for that later. I'm trying to get back down there tomorrow b/c they told me they need to finish the wideband installation tomorrow morning and check the AFR and then it will be ready.
