Well I want a cat so I can swap it when I go to the dealership so I don't wanna burn through this one and need to buy a new one. Besides how long will it last with the stage 2?

Guessing 60k miles? For all real information call Maurice at 780-456-1510. You can order your stage one/two at the same time!
Living without a cat sucks!

I know it may not be polite to borrow thread space but I thought it might be appropriate to mention here to any of you looking for a spare motor for guitarjunkie to work his magic on, that I have the perfect one available short term here: https://www.rx8club.com/mazmart-88/rx8-motor-auction-48646/.
That's at our site, we're having an auction on the gem.
Paul.

Well I don't really have a sense fo smell as it is so it doesn't really matter in that point. I dont' idle much, not in much traffic. But either way I'll see what it's like catless and make a decision there. Can you call that muffler shop up there Dave and ask how much it'll be to do the straight pipe?

i'd say plan on no more than $100 or so. they always treat me really good.

Awesome, that'll be the next thing I purchase. When will you be down here this weekend? If we can't meet up this weekend I'll go up there and have you look at her and we'll pick up the straight pipe next week maybe.

You must be pretty confident to be able to suggest openly that others bring their cars to you for a porting job. If anything goes wrong a new engine is in order by the owners expense.

You do seem to be knowledgable as heck though. It's pretty impressive.
