Greddy turbo owners - Make sure you fit your blocking plate !

I would say no.... but then again I never messed with that plate much; I figured it was a bandaid and I didn't wanna deal with it.
But the large 3071R can easily hold 10 PSI to redline with no dips - so a larger flowing turbo should do fine.

Hell yeah - 9 PSI on just the wastegate....
The turbo will flow it - the TD06 would not.... thus the plate - to keep the boost pressure consistant; especially with a MAP based EMS like the Greddy Emanage

Although I still run a partially blocked port with an upgraded Greddy .
You are going to have to do something with the wastegate to get full boost . Is it still the stock actuator ?

Can you explain more on how I would run a partially blocked port? The turbo I have should flow up to 58 lbs/min. Also, Bryan ported the wastegate, etc. He said it should be good to flow about twice as much from stock.

With that much flow I think you are better to just remove the plate altogether .
The fact that the wastegate will flow more is not the issue - it is the weak actuator spring that will allow the wastegate to open that will prevent you getting full boost .

Its a 60-1 compressor wheel. Here is the link that Bryan from BNR posted about it...

I have yet to maximize the turbo's full potential because its not tuned yet, but hopefully soon it will tuned.

However he also clipped the turbine so that could lead to lower pressures on the wastegate as well . Until Cab trys it we wont really know ....

Missing Plate
I bought a used kit from a dude for 900 with seized turbo and it is missing the intake mani block off plate my question is, does anyone know here I could purchase one or if i should just try fabricating one out of a plate of aluminium?
Also any recommendations on a good rebuild kit?
