omg I can't take it... I'm going through total withdraw. I need my eight back. Bryan won't even have the snail until Monday at the earliest... 10 or so days on the bench... then back to KDR... and Dave's been swamped.

Did you go with the stock wheel in the end ?

So while we got parking and turbos in the same thread... I put about 500miles on my car with the turbo and fresh royal purple 10w30 oil... after sitting for about 4 to 5 months while the snow is here you guys think I'll need to change the oil before I start the car again or will it be fine? I dont normaly change the oil before starting it in the spring again (I usually do within the first few 100kms though) but this is the first time it's been parked with the turbo...

Bryan'll call me once he has the turbo in hand. We'll work through exactly what gets swapped then. I'm leaning towards the smaller wheel but if it's something that's going to take a while to procure I'll probably just go with the -1 fan blade and bored out inlet, as well as his other mods (water cooled, better bearing, etc).

will just be using a TD06H 25G CHRA and using the GReddy turbine housing. Will have to get a new compressor cover however to fit the new wheel since its bigger than a 60-1

And brett, the 20g is doing fine, but is just barely larger than the stock 18g and I didn't feel too confident on the work I did on the compressor housing to make it fit. I figure if I'm going to get a new cold side housing, I might as well get a 25g chra and a 25g housing

I would go with the T04e 50Trim .
Comfortable 300-310whp with a very quick spool up from low rpm - perfect for a street car .

People are only now just realising this and the results will come - but it has taken 18 months of poor results for it to sink in .
It's been frustrating for me watching all this after being widely criticised for doing it the"wrong way" and succeeding while seeing many people try to do it the "right way" and fail .

It is a combination of an undersized compressor and and undersized actuator.
Forcing a turbo into the choke line is not a boost control strategy.
