Greddy turbo + REVi

I couldn't find any info on this by 'search'ing, so sorry if this is a duplicate post.

Has anyone adapted the REVi intake to fit the Greddy turbo? It doesn't look stunningly difficult...some mandrel bends &/or fabrication, but do-able.

I'm going to give it a try, so I was hoping to draw on the experience of someone else who's already done it.

Thanks.

It is do-able and I hope Racing Beat puts out an adapter set for those with Greddy Turbo installed. Do you hear me RB? Expand your intake market to the Turbo RX-8's!!!

you don't like the generic mushroom cone filter on the greddy turbo kit?

maybe some type of air duct to direct air right to the filter?

If that's doable, then maybe it is also possible to fabricate some ducting used with the stock intake box and the GReddy turbo kit. That'd help hiding the turbo for those hampered with a visual smog inspection (like us in California).
However, suppose the sound of the turbo would still be a giveaway when doing the test.
Honestly, I don't know if the turbo could coexist with an intake box like the stock one or the REVi, simply because of the space.

I really don't see how it is feasible. The intake on a Greddy breaks left right after the intake (turbo is located on passenger side next to wheel) then goes through the IC & up the other side. You would essentially have to cut the whole backside of the Revi off, then re-do all the piping that comes with the unit. The only thing you would pretty much have left of the Revi by the time you are finished is the plastic housing.
