YEAH!
The first turbocharged RX-8 are now running in Sweden. Think it´s the 3:rd or something in entire Europe actually... Me and 2 friends installed it during this weekend. Anyway, I´ve just driven it about 30km and have not pushed the pedal all the way yet. A few questions popped up during this first run that I hope I can get some help with. (Yes I did a search, but Philidox thread i HUGE and I don´t want to spend the entire night) Please help me out or point me in the right direction.

Some more info: Besides the turbokit I have the GReddy oilpan and catchtank installed. (Type S BOV is not installed yet)

1. Sometimes when idling, the rpm goes up and down and then the engine stops. I also get almost every warninglight lit up just before this. What´s up?

2. The DSC is constantly blinking.... What can I do to get rid of this?

3. I have the default GReddy map and no updated map. How do I get the newer maps?

for #2 I believe you need to reset the DSC module, by turning the key to "on" but not starting the car, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, then all the way to the left, turning the key off and then start the car. Blinking light should go away.

shoot an email to benny@greddy.com. He is the technician that works with the RX8 kit. Have him send the updated files to an email address where you can turn off the virus protection, otherwise they will not let you extract the files.

Thanks for the input therm8... I´ll try this first thing in the morning, but I feel confident that it´ll work...

Thanks fanman... I´ve emailed Benny so we´ll se what happens. Will a new map solve my idling-problems as well you think?
