Yep been driving stock for quite some time now. Actually enjoying the car again instead of working on it all the time. However, now i am starting to get the bug to have a project again. Trying to think of what i want to attempt this time.

Uncontrollable drifter
No, with the car off and idling it only opens up somewhere after half throttle-probably 65-75%. Don't know what the hell's going on, although after reading this thread https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...+body+movement I'm thinking perhaps because I don't have the transmission switches hooked up, ecu?/ecm?/pcm? whatever the hell you want to call it is not registering any gear nor neutral that it's not controlling it right???

Throttle stuck open problem: I had it happen it me about 2 years ago. NA and stock ECU with a MM tune. I had been driving the car on a warm day, parked it came back 10 minutes latter and when I fired it up the idel went high. Shut it off and tried it again, same thing. Disconnected the throttle body and the battery. Hooked it back up and the problem was gone and I have not had it happen again. Strange and I almost forgot about it until seeing this thread for the first time.

yeah, i was not pleased when leaving the dyno. It was idleing way high. I still drove that bitch off the dyno around the lot and pulled it up on the trailer. Took it home, cleaned it the entire intake and TB and everything worked fine. Drove it for prolly a month or more before returning it to stock. Never had another isssue with the TB. No clue what caused it and no clue why it happend. Could nto have happened at a worse time though.
