Heavy vs Light Turbos...

I heard that 7 pounds of weight, has an effect on acceleration equal to 1 horsepower.

Does anyone know how much each of the turbo kits and such weigh? Taking weight into consideration... by just how much is an expected horsepower increase (wrt acceleration) compared to the stock car ?

eg Greddy kit plus emanagement weighs how much??

thanks

The rule more or less is every 100lbs you lose will take 1/10 a second off your 1/4 mile times.

So if you flip it around you'd have to add 100lbs to slow the car down about 1/10th a second.
I'm just guessing but I dont think the Greddy weighs more then 50lbs.
