The powerband isn't rising. The torque band is widening on the top-end and rising from 3,500+. It was interesting to no longer see the drop-off in power at 8,800. You'll see when Jeff and I get the tuning details done and present the dyno sheets.
200 lb./ft. of torque at 7,878 RPMs. Do the math.........![Lol2](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/lol2.gif)

200 lb./ft. of torque at 7,878 RPMs. Do the math
Horsepower = ((RPM)*(Torque))/5252
Quick math says your making 300 Horsepower N/A. Is that with Nitrous?
If your doing that totally N/A porting might become very popular very fast.

It's so beautiful:

VERY beautiful....
Also, those 425 HP out of a N/A 20B...you can be fairly confident that that's about as much power as they could possibly make. They do phenomenally precise tuning with those cars. There is always a theoretical limit of engine power capacity with a fixed amount of airflow, and I'm sure that is about that #.

Is there anybody in Usa that has dyno'ed a ported Renesis engine on a Super flow or similar engine dyno? Here in Sweden i hope to be the first with a stage 0.5 streetport done by my companion Micke for 2 years ago. The engine set up is as follows:
1. 2004 Renesis engine streetported.Statically and dynamically balanced on a Turner machine.
2.Engine management Vi-Pec V44 with bosch igniters and 4 as today unknown coils. Upgraded injectors.
3. Shall be tested with 2 different intake combinations. Electric water pump to be used.
4. Hope to have 3 different headers plus the stock exhaust manifold with me on dyno day.
5.Test the engine with Shell V-Power 99 octane and E85.
6. Book 2 days on engine dyno and test test!
7. Why? Becausse i am a die hard rotary fan since the early 80s! And to learn more about the Renesis capabilities and have fun!

The guy who created the thread wants huge horsepower with N/A configuration? Why dont you buy a corvette , not even a word of handling came out. If you want huge horsepower and huge torque it obviously needs big displacement for N/A , forced induction allows you to get more air that the engine couldn't have done by itself. Don't see why you want N/A power so much considering you have a 1.3 L , and a smooth powerband? Turbos and superchargers do that , of course its going to pin you back on your seat , its called power , the thing you wanted. lol

Thank's Brettus! I have at least 3 engines to do before i have the time to assemble and do the wiring and so on. A friend of mine is building the headers. Plan is to dyno test with the stage 0.5 porting and the dissasemble and do a double bridge port to the outer side plates
Then go to the dyno again...
