No idea off the top of my head but looks like a straight T3. Hard for me to tell since it's not scaled against anything. Brettus, that the same compressor setup you've got?

I had another customer dyno turbo II stage 2 which has the H3 compressor and the power was 332 RWHP on stock ports at 14 psi. So numbers are very similar in comparision. The 60-1 will out flow the H3 by a good bit. Both are nice compressors for low boost aplications.

Brettus man.....HOLY CRAP my car is fast! I shortened the w/g actuator arm like you said. Ran with out a boost controller. In 1st gear hit 10psi to redline. 2nd gear hit 12 psi to redline. 3rd gear hit 13-14psi to redline. 4th gear about 14psi but I ran out of road to get to redline...LOL.

Saw 416 g/sec maf reading.

I wish I would have done this on the dyno. Thanks man for the info!!

Did you notice how much more precise the boost control via the accelerator pedal is when you dont use a boost controller ?

Well, if it is set up correctly, it allows the turbo to be on boil most of the time so that you can modulate boost with your foot without fear of the late onset of an uncontrolled turbo.

05rex8 - i'm really interested to know what effect the turbine clipping has had on that turbo . Can you tell me at what rpm you reach say, 10psi ?

Also , do you have an upgraded intercooler ?

If you do and have sufficient fuel I can see you reaching double baller status IE 300lbft and 350whp

Brettus,

So would you say that with the Greddy intercooler you cant reach double baller status?

Not with the turbo I have . Your one - perhaps but you it will be creating way more backpressure than desireable .

Glad to hear that you are finally getting the power you wanted.

Time to re-dyno......

I will check later on tonight about the rpms. I am going to try a new map with some stuff tweaked first.

I have a bigger intercooler sitting in my garage actually. I had it installed for a while last year but I had to take the crash bar out. So I ended up putting the greddy back in. I need to figure out a way to make it work with the crash bar.

Brettus, with no boost control, I see 10 psi ~4700RPM

I messed with my gain on my bc and logged 420 g/sec. Lolz.

Now to find time to go to the dyno....

what I actually meant was what is the earliest rpm you can see 10 psi - with boost control operating ......

Don't get too carried away with your maf numbers just yet - lets see the dyno . BTW you are only allowed to make 332whp -any post showing more than this will be deleted .

ahh...ok. I will get back to you on that.

Yeah I know the maf numbers don't mean much without a dyno, but its crazy to me to see that much improvement with such a small modification that took me 30 minutes to do.

Just think how many others are out there with upgrades that never figured that out . I'll bet heaps because all the talk from years ago was that the upgrade did very little .....

Here is the test i just did

4th gear on a empty stretch of road
start boost (set gain)set to 10psi
Overboost warning set to 10psi
floor it at 2000 rpm and watch your rpm
take note of rpm when overboost beeper starts beeping

I got 10psi at 3050rpm
did the same thing for 6psi and got 2600rpm

Asuming we have the same turbo this should give an idea of what effect the turbine clipping has at low rpm .
