While it is true that we haven't seen 300whp + from a member with the Esmeril , that chart is a "no restrictions chart" and was done to differentiate somewhat between independant dynos by members who bought a kitset and what a vendor (who is a member) might choose to post + it accomodates custom turbos as well .

Slight correction - I haven't seen much over 300 HP with them. (Even at Pr above the recommended limit.)

In general, there are only a few kits that have yielded much more than 330 HP, and they all required some pretty "close to the limit" AFRs and ignition timing.

I've gotten one over 300, but it wasn't happy pushing more than 310 or so.

Describe not happy?

Also I have an overlay of Jeffs best run vs our kit( same dyno) and it doesn't look like the 1st page comparison, his falls on its face at 7k rpms.

I can scan it...

I took that dyno (without asking MM ) off his website . He has never posted a dyno on this site to my knowledge despite repeated badgering from me .
I only posted it there as some encouragement for others to beat or match his efforts.
Just rechecked it and it looks very close (see post #3 on this thread for the full dyno) from what I can see . Also , I'm only recording in 500rpm increments so some of what is going on gets lost due to lack of resolution .

Lot of pr for very little gain. I know the turbo was toasted shortly after... so it could have been part of it.

I have posted that very dyno as well as the other below.
Neither are on the turbo I currently use.

That might not be a good dyno for comparison since it was on a blown (80 PSI compression) motor (and intended for TA classing, if you get my drift).
The dyno in the first page is the dyno from MYSQL's tuning run down in Florida. It is also out in the open on my WEB page:

My dyno (on a good motor with the same turbo as the above chart) is also on my page:

This was done almost 3 years ago on the same dyno as Jemaal's car.

This is the one in the chart - not MYSQLs'

BTW I did say "to my knowledge" - I know you have an aversion for posting such things

Updated.

That is an awesome result . Would you please post the chart here along with a bit of a run down on what you did to get these numbers and what is in the kit .

Cheers

It "hovers above" because of the different flow characteristics of each turbo. I'm willing to bet that line is close to the most we will ever see out of a Greddy upgrade. With mine, I can still go higher if I chose which I may when I blow this motor and get a fully built/ported one with ceramics.

Full dyno

Wanted, don't get me wrong, I am all for the top mount setups, I was just curious about the results, I am working on a log top mount myself, I am very impressed with your results as your car is still running and driving.....

You can also add ours is @ 10PSI with aux ports open.

I am getting excited to add a 15psi on a built/ported engine soon...

Didn't mean to come off sounding like an ***, I suppose I could have worded that a little differently, sorry about that. I was just pointing out that the GReedy upgrade pushes a higher PSI initially than the SFR but drops off as the revs climb because it just can’t keep up with the additional need. Good luck with your build!
