How to make your Renesis turbo or SC engine last

Quick update on the Esmeril seals :
Been running conservatively - 10psi to about 6000 tapering down to 7.5 at redline .
Done about 3000km so far and have had 2-3 detonation events . These all occured on the same day . I think I may have crossed trailing and leading plug wires although I'm not 100% sure - could also have been a faulty trailing plug .
No sign of any damage : cross fingers .

I've had 5 detonation events in one day on my new engine. Everything was fine. She runs great now even though I'm back to NA.
The renny is a pretty tough engine IMO.

Plug wire separators especially if you're using those hot LS1/LS2 coils with a stiff dwell. Don't ever, ever, ever, ever EVER allow plug wires to lay atop one another.

Brettus,
Sorry you grenaded your engine, mate. It's inevitable if you boost it.
The only way to make the engine last is to keep it NA, IMHO.
Show me a bunch of FI Renesis engines that make it to 100k miles and I'll take it all back; but 'till then the proof lies with 100% of the FI engines failing.

He detonated several times, and no sign of damage yet.

show me a bunch of pre 06 motors that make it to 100k miles and then make a judgment.

Yes, all engines will fail eventually, but by any reasonable measure they should last 150k+ miles.
