Just traded in my 2004 Suppercharged Cobra for my 8. I miss the whine of the charger already. But, I can't wait to hear it again, this time from my RX. Definetly interested

I don't know if this has been asked but are you planning to import this into the U.S.? If so, are you going to submit it for CARB certification as RP is planning with the AFSC?
#1183
I was actually thinking of exporting them to the US
I have started to look into CARB certification, and will look at that further when then "product" reaches a deliverable state. I would like to think I could go down that path, but it is too early to make a decision or comittment.
Cheers,
Hymee.

At this stage I'm just happy to know you're considering it. I'm sure there are a lot of things they'll be curious about that aren't finalized like the EMS and whatnot but even so I remain hopeful.

Get well, take a rest Hymee. In Toronto, we have many automatic 8 alive waiting for some suprise.
Please make a due date for the project, if you can. So the auto can do their justice.
The 4 speed is killing me, I am still waiting for the SC, then interceptor x all in one.
Thank you so much for your SC invention.

In amongst everthing else...
I've spend some time installing the blower components as per Wildcard's installation onto that engine we tested on the engine dyno. Not complete yet, need to fix a bit of an issue with the bottom pulley adaptor. I guess I should take some photos of it and post - yeah, that is more like me!
I also have some plans for vastly improving the drive setup, and give something unique to this product over the other RX-8 blowers to date. No details yet - just something to tantalize you :p
I'll post more of an update when I have something more to show! Work continues...
Cheers,
Hymee.

Youslybastard what is there between the lines? Do those two statements go together? Never mind, don't tell me I don't care.

Wow. I just read through the entire 82 pages on a 14.4 k/s connection. THAT'S dedication haha...
It makes me feel a lot better to know about all the progress that has been made before I started reading these forums. That progress - and that amazing charger whine - have made me even more excited! Take your time with making it...I have to save my money anyway

Hey, the links to the videos arent working for me, filtering through 80 pages and then hitting a dead link = suicide lol. Wondering if anyone else was having the problem or if it was on my end. Best to you Hymee, nothing sexier than an import sitting on a line with a bunch of turbos, hearing the trademark whine, and blowing the freaking doors off of the laggy turbos, you are our savior and i just hope i have money by the time you complete.
Thx.
Thx.
