Not a Datsun in sight. That is Hymette's Honda Civic, with the steel wheel spare on the front, waiting for a new set of slippers.

Cheers,
Hymee.

If it keeps the same exhaust note I will get it. I am going turbo soon and worried only cause I dont want my exhaust tone to change. Everyone I talk says it sounds like an Indy car. That's from one Viper owner to a Suzuki sidekick owner at a gas station. Tunnels make me splurge.

Will your intermediate pipe with a resonator solve my cat replacement problems ?

Heres an ongoing problem that i have had and i am heading towards my 4th cat failure .

2 have been stock Mazda cats and 2 aftermarket ones .WTF

Causes of cat meltdowns .

I have already had 4 cat failures in 40K mi. This will be my next cat.

I will be buying a resonated midpipe and having this installed. I have been in contact with them and they assure me that these have been installed in rotary applications and can withstand the heat of a rotary exhaust.

WTF?? The intermediate pipe doesn't have a resonator in it. Have a look at what there is stock from the first joint after the cat, back. A "Cat Back"...

Anyways, I guess this should be moved to an exhaust thread.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Update: Pics of current install...

Notes:
  • First pics of New automatic Tensioner
  • Relocated coil pack.
  • Stock throttle body for now, shown in approx location prior to fabricating adaptor plate.
  • A/C Tensioner - belt running under idler. Might put it back over the top. To be decided before we machine the ribs off the idler.
  • Hopefully start doing the boost pipes today, running today / tomorrow

Sorry to all the sCANalyser Pro Tuner beta testers for swing my efforts to this. But I do need a boosted car to test Pro Tuner on myself

Enjoy the pics!

Cheers,
Hymee.
