I'm sick and tired of dealing with uneducated little ***** coming on this forum and asking the same f-ing questions over and over. The reason you can't spell is because you havn't applied yourself. Just as its obvious that you havn't applied yourself here. There is a boat load of information posted on this forum regarding major horsepower upgrades such as superchargers, turbos , and nitrous. I'm a 37 year old man with a family. I have a college degree and am currently going for my masters. I have been involved in numerous DOD projects that will ultimately benefit our troops like that of the EMALS system that was posted last night. I have applied myself and it shows by where I am in my life and my career. Get off your f-ing high horse. You say you serve your country. So do I *******. You won't find high ranking officers on the front line. They're not out there to flex their muscle they're out there to use their mind like us "bookworms". Take what your selling elsewhere because frankly your an embarassment!

Listen. Everyone on here is an ***, and if you don't know your ****, you will get flammed. Here's what you can do:
1. smaller upgrades, that don't hurt your engine, intake, exhaust ,Cobb accessport, chip. etc.
And if all of those are done, you will have a decently fast car. without dropping thousands and thousands on it.
2. a 13B engine swap. no one has the cash for that...
3. turbo it, BUT only at LOW PSI. That's where dumbasses blow their engines. So many times I've seen it where people run it at high psi, which the rotary isnt ment for, and they dont know why their engine went.. if you turbo it, only 5.9-8 psi please..
4. sell the car.. a lot of cars are easier to upgrade. personally, I think its a pretty quick car. I own one. It gets the steriotype "slow" because A. people have the 4 spd autos, or B. Americans are all about their mustangs and 350 whp and dont want to accept 200 whp, gives them a run for their money. which is true. mustang gt and rx8 tied on the track in times.
5. supercharger. less harmful, hp boost. usually no problems are caused by them

wow i love forums lol i did talk to pettit racing they said that supercharging the RX8 will give me less problems and if i take car of the oil level and dont beat the snot out of it, the car will be fine. they also told me i could do the same thing with a turbo. on low boost 5 to 8 pounds but it needs to be tuned on a regular so i dont pop the damn motor. they said it was all about the flow and the tune

Never take what someone said, and then quickly go out and preach that to others without researching first especially when you want to talk **** about others in the process. All that was missing from your last post was recommending cams and a port and polish.

lmao this is actually funny now it first i was getting pissed about people talking ****. I guess i found the humor in it. Also yes i was talking abou supercharging my car but i have done alot of research now and the kit pettit sellls is well worth the money but the only problem is i could easily sell this car take the 8 grand for the supersharger and put it into another car and have far more power. I can honestly say i made a mistake in buying this car.Though i do like it alot,it just not the car for me i like alot of power,driving fast is my style. so i think i might do the basics for now like intake exhaust slid mounts, final drive flywheel and all that jazz and see where im at . then maybe if im happy with that i will move on from there. OHHHHH and one more thing to the guy that said a turbo will smoke the motor i met a kid tho other night and he has had his rotory boosted at 9 pounds for 3 years and hasnt had a problem since. but ever car is different from wht i have learned in life so just know that i guess if you take care of it then it will last. i hope everyone has great luck with thier car,and thier life. thank ou for all of your help good and bad

Yes, there is very little you can do to strengthen the internals other than seals .... unless you are willing to drop 5+ grand on an engine build (parts alone)
shouold i go with h greddy kit that comes with the emanage and injectors?
Greddy is a popular choice ... DO NOT use emanage, its a piece of **** as far as the rx8 application goes.... This is where you need to ask yourself about local emissions testing and how you are going to work with OBD2 compatibility
will it give me some serious power?
stock is around 180 whp
NA mods will give you 190 - 200 whp
turbo should put you at 240 - 260 (stock motor, and fuel system)
Crazy turbo = crazy money (fuel system, injectors, the works) 350+ whp .... prior to touching the engine itself
does a hioghflow exhaust and cat make a difference?
Absolutely - best NA mod is a catless midpipe in terms of power .... and you start to shoot fire
i don want to waste money on things that i can buy now but wont be able to use once i have the turbo.

BUT before you start modding ... maintain your car first
The ignition system is known to be weak
Premix your gas ... change oil OFTEN
and learn about rotaries ... you will need to READ, READ, READ .... tons of info out there....
most people here (including myself) spent 1 or more years reading this forum on a daily basis before buying an rx8
Don't stick to this forum too ... read some SAE papers on the engine and stuff ..... start in my attachment

i hear you can boost it and it will be fine,or your going to blow your motor. now my question is. Is the reason why im going to blowmy motor because of to much boost or the motor has a weak design?
Every motor blows at some point ... the question is when?
Boost increases wear ... more wear = blown motor sooner
FD motors last longer than boosted MSP engines because they accept boost better
However, they don't last nearly as long as an NA MSP
or i it another reason i really dont want to waste my money but i deffinatly want more power.
