i think i need nos
normally i dont bother with eclipses since i've dusted so many, but friday night this guy kept messing with me so i had to do it .then i saw him purge his nos.my thoughts were oshit and that was correct he owned me but not as bad as i thought he would. only by about 1car lenght.

of course it's at a local track .i didnt mention a stop light did i had an srt yesterday but you now how conjested tracks are @6:OO.dont know much about srt's but it sounded like it had a turbo?

maybe you can't launch? How do you know he didn't have ZEX instead of NOS? 1 car length? that mean his rear bumper was even with your bumper, or was 10 feet in front of your bumper. Either way, a better launch could make up that difference. Practice driving. :D

nos or zex im not100% sure .but i would say nos.what ever he had it kicked in around 3000rpms becuase his car would jump and start to leave me .its sounded like evry part in his engine was going to explode .so i dont think his engine could take this on an everyday bases.

Nothing wrong being beat by a civic...those old hatches have double wishbone suspensions and weigh about the same as a lotus elise (around 2000-2200 lbs)...combine the fact you can swap all manner of engine and turbo's into the things, and you've got a wee little hatchback driving around town with about 180-200 whp, and weighing a scant 2200 lbs. There honestly isn't many cars at all that can beat a properly setup and tuned civic.
