So I guess the information passed around was a bit wrong, eh? Like they say, "consider the source".

I meant "Thank You", as in thanks for the work.

Guys ---please. I started this thread just to throw out a compliment concerning my satisfaction with using the INT X . Thats all. As far as I am concerned it works pretty good and has a lot of flexibility to it. My car --with some tweaking--runs well with the base map and the unit offers the flexibility that i am interested in.
I am not about debating anymore the good and the bad about the Pettit kit. Some things worked for me and i thought I would share---thats all.
Asking can we please bring it back to that.

I just realized that my private messages does not seem to be private? Very interesting. It is good to know the environment one is communicating in. At least adjustments are available.
Good insight into early retirement. Does this mean anything to anyone s_pvgov\.66\onidex.
I am out of here.

And you succeeded.
However, I don't think you even realize how messed up some of the things you discussed really are.
Certainly, reading the "Pettit Owners" gives one cause for pause.

Why are all of the SC folks so afraid of debate? The turbo folks don't seem to be.
Try looking through the threads of all the early adopters and the few kit makers and see how that went.

Well, no public medium is private.
Remember - even under law there is no reasonable expectation of privacy.
Privacy must be created and preserved. There is no right to it.
That said, there are only two ways your PMs are not private:
1) The "other party" does not desire to keep them so;
2) The admins of this site are similarly disinterested.

What was private (and revealed) in this thread?

To be honest, I thought it was quite commendable of OD to decide to stick with the IntX as opposed to simply joining the stampede of Pettit owners to the re-flash.

As far as PMs possibly being subject to public scrutinty, lemme clear THIS up right now; MM is a friggin' *******. There. I said it. Now what.

God damnit Ray! There you go letting people know my secret!
Now I'll never win Marietta 8's "Mr. Congeniality" award.

Actually, I'd be really interested in seeing how the flash gets along with Dan's idle air bleed system.

Dan? Or Denny. OD?

Maybe the rest of us will elect you Mr. Congeniality if you wear a dress. You looked pretty snazzy for a geek at SSX.

Well, he signed the "Pettit Owners" thread as Dan. I just figured "Denny" was your pet name for him.

So what's worse- the boyfriend that can fit into his girlfriends pants or the girlfriend that can fit into her boyfriends pants?

i dont think you missed much...

personally i think the flash is the way to go...i dont really have a high opinion of the x....it was a means to an end at the time...just biding my time for the flash...

i will admit that im not that knowledgable when it comes to engine management but it just makes good sense to me that if you can reconfigure your PCM to work with an FI product allowing the car to run in the most efficient way...have the best drivability, etc...its a no-brainer....IMO...
others may have different opinions...

opinions are like ********, everyone has one...

Apparently, at least one. Maybe two. Or three.

As long as I can get into her pants, all is good.

the way i see it, if i have to continually keep tweaking it - I better not be paying much for it....
