Dude! The injectors came out fine, I found a write up on some wrx thread and compared that to the write up you sent me. Once the plastic cap was removed it was pretty obvious what had to be done.

We finally got a wastegate to fit, not the one I wanted but it will do.

I can say right now the larger compressor housing is not worth the amount of time required to fab everything up.

I am very surprised we were able to fit everything it was a nightmare!

I lost the freaking Vband nut last night somehow, but everything else is bolted up on the turbo side and fitting very well.

If I can find the vband nut we should only have 6 more hours of work fitting the piping and refitting the intercooler 10 times. then another 3 hours taking off the UIM because I forgot to do something. Then maybe another 15 hours to take everything apart because I forgot to tighten a bolt somewhere.

Should be ready to go by Friday morning.

It's sad that we can pull an engine tear it down put in new seals and install it in less time then I have spent installing my turbo.

That oil drain is officially leaking I slowly reved it up to 7k and about 4 ounces came out. Luckily its not the feed just the drain. un-luckily a certain waste gate actuator bolt is in the way.

As a side note I've spent an average of $400 per month on parts for my car for the past year and a half preparing for this turbo build.

I think the issue is the pink bolt for the inter cooler bracket.

Coolant temps are at 198 cruising at 72 mph.

Charge pipe is rubbing on the front tire.
