I call False Advertising, it was not that nice and clean in EDM yesterday when I went through, although it was sunny. LOL Spring is coming but it is delayed this year, maybe next month.............

Haha, just keeping all my photos in one place. I also currently have the vented carbon fiber hood installed, but I'll be reverting back to stock. Like the cleaner look better and temps only change about 2-5F with the vented hood.

No, I've never dyno'd the car. I've always had plans to but I've never followed through. I've also been planning to do a compression test, no concerns just want to do it to gauge the health of this engine after 8 years of boost. The thing that keeps stopping me though is that I've moved to a new city in the past year or so and am currently building a house, so if the numbers for some unforseen reason were unfavorable an engine re-build wouldn't be very high up the priority list for at least another few years!
As it stands, since I've turbo'd the car back in September 2010 with some minor modifications over the years, idle/vacuum is the same as it's always been since day 1, butt dyno tells me that it is still pulling hard as it can with a stock GReddy snail, and data log numbers seem to all be in the right ranges.
I've recently met another Turbo 8 owner who is relatively close to my area who has installed an SFR top mount kit. Once he is fully tuned and we get an opportunity to meet up it will be nice to compare cars and really get the 'feel' of another boosted 8 that isn't my own (mine is the only 8 I've sat in since boosting mine).

Had to get an inspection done on my car when I moved to a different province. Took the opportunity to weigh my wheels since I had to put the stock ones back on for the inspection. Seeing a savings of about 4-1/2 lbs per wheel. A couple before and after shots, what a difference that offset makes!

Those pictures look really good and I totally understand why you are looking at them in December. Thanks again for the rip around with the Turbo, it really boosted the "I want one" emotion along with a closer look at the wheels which really look super.

After 9 glorious years of boost the turbo kit has been stripped off and sold locally. Was running 9psi with a Greddy EBC. Turbo Manifold did not have any signs of the common crack that seems to develop on the underside and the turbo itself was still in excellent shape. Not to mention 9 years on the ORIGINAL 2004 factory engine!
If you would have asked me back in 2010 if I thought I'd still be loving every minute of this car in 2019 I don't know what I would have said. But here we are, what an amazing journey this setup was!

The Renesis was an amazing platform for me and I'll cherish it forever. My new goals are much loftier than I believe is possible on the Renesis and I figured if I don't do this now it will never happen, so REW swap on the way!
