manifold blanking plate for turbo

Is it needed? Why's it needed?what's it do

What wud appen if I didn't use it

What kit do you have? I have Esmeril and I use boost logic turbo blanket. It will help with reducing temp under the hood by a lot. It cool enough that you can rest your hand on the blanket after a drive. Just make sure you let the car cool down before you shut it off because the blanket hold heat and it takes longer for turbo to cool down.

Other than that wrap hoses in the area with heat insulating tapes as much as you can.

I think he is talking about a manifold BLOCKING plate, I wouldn't use it.

Blocking what...intake manifold? Like on the Greddy Kit....that blocks the Auxillary Intake tract at the manifold??

Beneficial for the stock Greddy IMO

I know dick about turbos (as has been demonstrated here, at length) and only (made and) put the damn thing in because Bret said it was important.....

keep it in for stock Greddy but take it out for anything else .

OR - tune it like i did
