yeah, it's a bit lean for me, but i was already lean before. I've just lowered my boost controller so I only go to 5 psi and will keep it there till I can have scott mess with it. I saw 12.5 AFR this morning in boost. No ill effects, but too close for me. I want to see it in low 11's, upper 10's.

I'd love to see if they had an interceptor-x car have a predyno, installation and readjustement of afr, then a post dyno... then you'd see if its at all useful for a NA car... that or at least Scott to come back and explain some contradicting NA information

In Florida?..............yes, as fronts push through on about a three-four day cycle it will change. Front comes through and high pressure takes over....and it rises (probably spikes in two days time) and heads back down until next front arrives. We just got a front Friday and Saturday, so it's currently after a peak. Currently at 30.22 and falling.

I set my piggyback to make fuel adjustments over 25% throttle under 3500 rpm and 5% throttle over 4000rpm and my LTFTs never appear to interfere with the tune . last time I looked it was negative 3.5%
We don't even know at this point is if the coils cause leaner running at any point in closed loop - it could be only under load that it happens .

Power!!
Well I might think the coils will drive actually adding more fuel and getting more power.
Please let me know if my logic is flawed:
1)Crappy OEM coil farts out puny spark which in turn burns some fuel and air and makes some power.
2)O2 sensor sees extra fuel and air due to crappy combustion and extrapolates AFR is too rich so it pulls some fuel because it's not getting burned.
3)AFR is now on target because there is less overall fuel left in the exhaust but at the end of the day it's because we don't burn as much as we could, not because it's best power/efficiency.
4)Enterprising RX8 owner installs hi-powered singing and dancin Mazsport Popeye ignition coils
5)New Coils fire off massive amounts of high speed low drag negative electron wielding spark igniting every last fuel molecule in the combustion chamber causing smiles and grins and wails of pain.
6)There is much rejoicing.
7)The O2 sensor sees less unburnt fuel and tells the PCM "put the spurs to it" and now adds more fuel since there is less unburnt fuel in the exhaust.
8)rinse repeat and we now get more power because we're burning more fuel at the same measured exhaust gas mixture.

I have some questions since Im ready to drop the ball on the coils.
What color are the plug wires? Im wanting red or black.
Also, how long of a wait for me to get these things after I have paid?

I actually was 13th on the list that was running here and paid on 12/29/2007, but there were others that got in on the actual website beforehand.
I think this is due to just the backlog at start up into production, but maybe Scott and clue us in?

Scott already said they're shipping them as fast as they make them. Don't forget that they were on the Mazsport website pretty much as soon as he announced them here, so he probably has a hefty amount of non-RX8Club orders to fill as well.
I want these and am
about not ordering at lower price but they're still a great value at $600

Hey guys,
The horsepower increase appears to be related to more complete combustion. I have been checking the LTFT's and they are changing very slightly on the N/A vehicles running our Ignition Solution.
The components are available individually if replacements are needed down the road. BTW, the parts in the photo's posted in this thread ARE NOT the exact components used in the kit, I would STRONGLY recommend contacting Mazsport for any warranty or replacement items.
I will try to keep up with this thread and will continue shipping Ignition Solutions as quickly as possible, Scott

Power!!
My guess would be an improvement when you're not hammering it.
Better combustion should lead to an efficiency gain=more power and better gas mileage. But I'm not the expert.
