In other news...we discovered the MPG's of cars with the ignition solution dropped dramatically...as the improved ignition created an increase in gravity surrounding the right foot of the driver...

Anyone with a N/A car installed this yet? I would like to hear more feedback from them.

I agree with Eviltwinkie in thinking that this mod will actually reduce my gas mileage. My right foot gets really heavy when the car runs well.

hope you have before numbers to compare once it's on? we definitely need a couple of you guys to confirm the results of this whole thing amonst independent cars. It's just really hard to believe any HP gain like this in-band is so dumb stupid simple to get. We've been disappointed soooooooooooooooooooo many times in the past. this looks like as good a bet as any I'd say to work.

I was debating doing two dyno's, one with stock ingition coils and my Magnecore plug wires and then one with the Mazsport coil upgrade, but I would have to pay for two dyno sessions ($60 bucks a pop) and I honestly don't feel like spending $120 on two dyno sessions.

If I dyno abnormally high, I'm sure we could attribute something to the coils. I have an old dyno from last year but that's with my old motor so it's moot.

How much you want to bet we could pass the paypal hat and ante that up for you? We just need a bit of grassroots support... anyone?

Haha! I appreciate it. If you get 12 people to volunteer $5 bucks each I'll more than gladly do two runs.

Could you leave the old coils in and just switch the wiring harnesses and plug wires back and forth between runs?

In theory but it would still take a while I think. The $60 bucks gets me 4 run back-to-back really, maybe a minuet inbetween for cool down or any tuning adjustments...

If he is cool and not backed up with customers.... it's an easy swap except yu have to attach the box and ground it.

Think about it. It may be too much work. If it's not grounded properly you can damage it.

If people pass the hat here, I'll see what I can do about getting backing for you to dyno twice.
It kinda comes down to how long its going to take to get everyone on the list onto the dyno.
We can't shortchange someone else.
I'll try to make it happen.

Really, if you guys passing the hat are serious, you can PayPal me your contribution and I'll match it. jeff @ mazdamaniac . com <== remove the spaces.

Mine arrived today. I have a N/A 6-SPD and I will get it installed ASAP and report back. I have some sick family members to care for but I should get it installed and tested before the weekend is over. I have a Gtec pro RR that I use to test before and after every modification. Not as accurate as a real dyno test but better then nothing.

If you offer the masses a free "picture" with the donation...you'll make a small fortune...

Are you guys going to dyno together or what there for tech support? Like I said $5 is nothing compared to spending $600 on something that is only pretty and finding out later. .. perhaps this PM some will put themselves on the list, then we can do a mass donate to whomever.

Yep, sucks being cold out, busy and kids to entertain. Mine came a few days ago, I am getting a Used Revi next week so I might as well do both at the same time.

Yes, them seem like they will hold up ok. They also include a small window sticker with the very detailed instructions.
