lmfao! long island/n.y. has it all. why hate/kill long islanders? swoope, I was not complaining at all about my 200 miles per tank. I had rotaries since I was 18 and know all about their thirst.

I used to live in O-town. I-4 was one of my fav hwy's. I'm planning on going out there
to visit my family. maybe I will average better mileage when I drive out there.

I'm just posting a question for us 4AT bastard stepchildren - has anyone done any reviews, provided any dynos (butt or otherwise), etc of the ignition solution on the 4AT? I brought it up to a new person over in our little corner of the forums who was asking for advice on potential mods.
I'll give you my prognosis once I get it and instal it. Its nearing a month since I ordered though. Shouldn't be too much longer I don't think.

this might be my first engine mod. i'm at 42k and haven't had to change my coils. i could always use more power and less carbon too.

I have an extra MazSport ignition solution for sale, less than 1000 miles on it. Swapped with another used MazSport ignition solution I bought for a friend, trying to troubleshoot problem. $500 local pickup, $520 shipped. Add 3% if paying with PayPal.

What kind of a problem would you be trying to trouble shoot where you would swap a Mazsport Ignition solution for another Mazsport Ignition solution? That just doesn't make sense. I could see swapping bact to OEM because you thought there was a problem with the Mazsport Ign but not swapping it for another. Please explain???

Despite rumors to that effect....it is not a known phenomenon...and continuing to spread such rumors doesn't do much for your reputation

There is a hell of a lot better chance of blowing up your engine by listening to Taj then there is from the ignition solution. Thats for sure!

Only Mazsport has been in the market long enough to get any kind of feedback - most has been good but some bad . I suspect something similar will happen with the other 2 options available .

not to be a negative nancy or anything, but just to play the devil's advocate, most buyers wouldnt run the test to notice there was a difference. 10whp IS awfully hard to notice, whether losing or gaining, unless you are running set tests.

How important is spark? I'll give you a hint - It's the same as asking how important is timing.

So what happens if your timing is off? What happens if your coils don't charge enough and sometimes can't ignite the fuel? What happens if your leading doesn't spark but your trailing does?

After modifying my Ecc Shaft Sensor and re-routing my vacuum/boost lines my Mazsport ignition is now working great! I had the car out last night for some really spirited driving and I didn't register a single misfire. My dwell settings have been adjusted but I am boosted and I don't think there is any need to adjust them for a N/A car.

Last night the car handled everything I could throw at it like a champ! I was doing WOT pulls from 2nd thu 5th, on again off again throttle changes at 7000-8000rpm, cruise at 8000rpm in vacuum, ect..., ect..., ect... and everything worked perfectly.

Oh yeah, I did put an 88 turboII in his place last night on just 7psi but I couldn't take down an STI running 20+psi.

All in all I am very pleased!

Nothing to be ashamed of at just 7psi.

Nope. Just cleaned and shimmed the ESS and re-routed the vacuum lines. There are a couple of places I need to work on but they are minor. I wanted to find the gremlins before I changed anything. Now for that water/meth!
