Mazsport Turbo Kit Type 2

Hey guys, I have been watching Scott street tune the Type 2 turbo RX8 this week....

I think we should see some dyno numbers shortly!! This is the kit with the liquid to air intercooler that was on the 8 that we shipped to Sevenstock....

T4 hybrid turbo, Interceptor-X, complete fuel system....

any guesses for the numbers? I can't wait!!

Does it still have the stock fuel and ignition system or has that been completely replaced?

let's make it a price-is-right type contest, the closest guess without going over wins a prize

I'll say 364

I know what type of numbers Scott can do with a stock ignition system so with a new one and fuel system, it's probably going to be higher. It all depends on how well that intercooler works. I also wonder how much boost he is going to tune in?

I'm going to be the brave optomistic person and say this is the day we finally see a 400 rwhp RX-8. That's probably going out on a limb though.

what type of exhaust are you using?

id say 360ish starting off, then 380s-390s fully tuned assuming you can keep spark going and have a good exhaust settup. 400+ on race gas.

I bid 2whp, Bob.

Too many variables we don't know to even hazard a guess. For all we know he's using 100+ octane - 360whp, 93 octane.

Even if I got 25% off I still would not be able to afford the whole kit for a while. I say 25% off of all Mazsport products. That way can but them little by little...
