I would put the EMU on the SFR or any other kit. I have a local tuner, you might know him

if he can't tune the EMU or can't find someone to do so, I would recommend the Int-X and have Scott tune it, of course. Especially if he doesn't have to pass emissions....

The kit is nice looking and the idea that it might be making 380+ rwhp sounds promising but when is it going to do that?

The thing that worries me about the water to air $10k kit from Mazsport is that the car that everyone talks about with the kit on it is still sitting there and when I asked for a test drive in it they said they can't because it's not tuned right. ?? The first post on here is from December 2006, why is it still not tuned right? That worries me... I use my car daily, so if I wanted that kit would I be out of a car for a long time? At first when Mazsport told me this I didn't think anything of it just figured it was only recently installed and in the tuning stage, now that I see the beginning date of this post I think differently. We all would like to see a working product wouldn't we?

I've got my money ready to invest in the HP market but I want to make sure when I destroy my warranty I am not in the process of destroying my car at the same time.

I don't have problems with people having an opinion. I have problems when people show up on a site, demand information and then make up comparisions with no real data and call them facts which is misleading to the people who read this forum.

Im pretty sure you can see what the kit includes on the internet, a good weld is a good weld, stainless looks like stainless, etc.
Unlike you I checked both websites to see what information was available about each kit and it is not exhaustive nor does it have a great deal of information about the components included or support the price buys. I was hoping you would 1 up me by calling them both and posting information for the forum that would be useful. I guess I was wrong.

Sorry, I know you love your RX8, but your acting a bit ridiculous in regards to the vehicle and this turbo kit. BMW cheap? Im sorry, but BMW has a great reputation for vehicles that drive and perform great.
I never said BMW was cheap or not a great vehicle. I actually said the opposite. That you can't get an M3 for the price of an RX8 plus the Mazsport turbo kit (37K). You were the one that alluded to that comparison and I was calling you out on the fact that it was not a good comparison.

Yet you are entitled to your opinion. I wonder how its affecting Mazsport on production and dyno sheets when your swinging from their nuts 24/7?
I don't even know what you are trying to say with that.

That is quiet interesting.

We have a very special RX8 owner in Maryland who sent us his RX8 to develop products and test with. We have had our Type 1 and Type 2 kit on the vehicle and now it is undergoing more adventures. It may be with us still but that hasnt slowed the sales of the turbo kits, the quality of our work or our support from the RX8 community as we continue to develop products.

thats not the point ........no body judging quality, at least im not. and thats great you venturing into new products. but i am considering the type 2 kit, but it weighs heavy on my consideration that the car is not moving and the dyno was supposed to be on this thread some time ago.

Mazsport going to grace us at SevenStock again? If so, you guys can just ask them questions then.

This is what I'm talking about, hopefully his car will be done before some other kit thats better comes out or that would be pretty aggravating.

I am scared to be without my Rex for months. I will get Greddy kit and have it installed in 1 week, I won't have 330hp but I will be driving my car. After a while I'll buy a larger garret and upgraded fuel system and be making 320+. Mazsport has nice looking kits but just a little pricey and slow with producing results.

well that it is all relative.... rocketman have you been to the shop because its right in your area... as for the dyno time... well i cant speak for scott and i wont try... its busy there with a lot of products coming out....

greek... i hope you do not try and get updates as much as you post on here... i am sure that would become more annoying than anything... you have to remember they have a certain number of cars in the shop on top of all the orders.. have you received any parts yet??? if you have, then you have a working relationship with them... its more than what most other shops would do....

i know there isnt another company that i would buy my parts from.... you have to remember what parts come in the kit... its not just pipes slapped together, turbo, and intercooler... they are providing you a kit that meets the needs that are needed to have your car be a reliable dd

The dyno is right down the street from the shop and it only takes 2-3 hours to test and tune it. Either way if they put out some dyno results and vehicles people can see running well and mayb e 1/4 mile or track times its just good advertisement and makes people feel safe and good about giving up $8500+.

I dont know what they do or how busy they are and so on at Mazsport, but back when I had my mazda3 a company named Hiboost was making a killer kit for the car. They had all types of videos up from the drags, dynos, street drive, fly by's and so on. It worked out really well for him and his sales.

I m sure i ll put down more than 400whp...
Betsey told me today at last that next week i might have all the parts shipped out..

I had some serious problems with the car due to a 70years old assh££e and if i manage to keep the car i will install the
type 3+hks amplifier+okada coils+porting+rebuild+fine tuning and with stronger apex seals around 0.8bar and with no cat and with my single exhaust..

I believe i ll pretty have everything and the kit is capable for over 400whp...If i get less i ll paint it blue and throw it in the ocean
