My Shops Project Rx8

hi me and my friends has a shop up in newyork (upstate) and we just got in guy with an rx8 and he said to 'hook this bitch up' and that money is not an option so we have a **** load of things going though our heads like custom turbo kits and a v mount intercooler with a hot *** paint job. if you guys have any ideas about what can go on the car just post it. its a show car so the under body is not that big of a deal it will be on a truck most of its life.

That is my list too. i would change the rims to gunmetal volk GT-V and paint it very shiny black. PTP turbo is #1 on the list though fallowed by the Vertex Lang body kit, those are must haves!

what ever you do, spend some quality time on the ECU tuning. There are finally some decent options at semi reasonal price points. To many people spend all this time building up there engines and then poping them due to poor tuning.

Suck it up, take it to a good shop with someone with experience working with what ever type of ECU you go with. Its going to be $1,000 well spent.

Good point. I forgot to mention the ECU. I know the PTP kit is going to come with the HKS V-Con Pro, but if money is not an issue, might as well get the Motec.

Money no object line is stupid. Everything needs a budget ... But just in case you are feeling flush..how about ...
Quad rotor renesis with sliding throttle bodies
quaife 6 speed
sitting on some 20sx10 at least all around
full ti exhaust with twin hi-flow cats
Motec M880 ECU with full unlocks
than the usual.. Swirl tank with twin fuel pumps
1000cc primaries with 1600 secondaries
with power steering and A/C still in
full carbon fibre body aka speedsource racing rx8
6pot front disc 4 pot rear with slotted discs all around
and of course all the electronic thingys still in tact

Happy fabricating :D
