RGonza, I see you guys are rockin' the front mount setup now, are you guys using the same turbo?

Swift, that's SEMA material right there!

Don't want to step on any toes, but I was thinking it would be a good idea to have everyone post their custom setup in one spot. There isn't a crazy amount of people going custom. I thought it would be cool if we're going to share, why not pool all the ideas together?

Just thinking out loud, what do you think?
Hi,GTAW ,

the turbo is a garrett GT35 40r Dual Ball bearing.

The fuel system mods are a bosch in line 0044 fuel pump with -8 fuel line to fuel rails and aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and aeromotive fuel pump speed controller..

Do you think it would be too much of a restriction this way?

Anybody interested in this fuel pump check out Jayracing.com,they seem to have the best price.
Hi, Gtaw

I did remove the stock one (Fuel Pump) instead i fabricate a custom fuel pickup to feed the 044 this pump is the best if you plan to run a turboCharged (Renesis)twins rotors engine. For a Ecu is best to replace the E manage for a stand alone ecu this one is much better and you have full control over fuel and ignition..The Greddy ECU here has a bad reputation of blowing a lot of turbocharged rotary engine ...

Hi Truemagellen,

Yes ,,, That's why we prefer to run stand alone , once you set your E manage Ultimate with the corrects setting and run the cars for the next 2 weeks the car runs perfecly once past a mounth this one runs randonly erratic and cause a lot of turbocharged rotary engine to failure and in some case blowns the engine. The turbo kit from greddy is nice with the exepction of the E manage ECU that's why a lot of customer blowns their engine with this kit!!!! if you want to runs a reliable turbo with renesis the 1st step is move to stand alone ECU and take full control of fuel and ignition we runs in the island 18 of boost without no detonation problems or apex seals problems..

Regards
Rgonza

I agree that the market should get going but I differ from the hp figures. I saw 410 WHP at a dyno shoot on a stock renesis engine with a large single turbo in PR before I came here. I beleive it was Rgonza's Blue car when it had the turbo under the car instead of above the engine. If I'm not mistaken it was running about 18-19psi of boost. I know this figure for a fact because my friend Cheo was competing with an FD and he got about 405hp and lost to the renesis. The horsepower is there and there is way more room to grow.

I think that chris is from Puerto Rico.................

if I can see chrisRX8PR probably I recognize him...........................
His friend cheo is from my town, Manati
I know cheo we talk very often.

The blue Rx8 maked 396 hp with a different turbine and different set up,
now is on rgonza hands and we buyed a bigger turbine (GT35/40R) and other upgrades. rgonza know a lot about electronic and knows to set up different ECU's so he would make a great set up for this car.

silverwolf,
here is a picture of my car with a Gt35/40R set up,
with that one the car maked 328 hp at the wheel that is near 400 hp at the flywheel.

Manuel,
Yo estudie con Cheo en el Colegio de Mayaguez y me pasaba en la casa de el en Ciales/Manati. Conozco bien a galdi y he visto tu carro par de veces. Gracias y mucho saludos.

And since I want everyone else to understand
"Manuel,
I went to college with Cheo at Mayaguez and would frequent his house in Ciales/Manati very often. I know Galdi(Psiquiatra) very well and have seen your car a couple of times before. I don't know if you know me in person but when I was in PR I would visit Galdi's shop frecuently. Maybee you dont remember me because at the time I didn't have a rotary, I had a red 3000gtVR4 with a single 60-1 turbo. Now I'm in minnesota, I bought a RX8 and the pics at the beggining this thread are of the turbo assembly I'm fabricating at home. My email is christian@c-axis.com if you have any more pictures of your car with the turbo renensis in it send them my way if it isn't a problem. Thanks and grettings"
