New B Question about tunning the Greddy Turbo Kit

I was just wondering how much tunning is involved? Are there preset fuel maps or do you have to adjust them manually? Just wondering if greddy gives you some good baseline numbers to work with or if you have to do a lot of tweaking. (I'm not looking for tons of boost, yet....haha, seriously though with just the recommended 5-6lbs is what I'm wondering about)
Thanks

Depends, do a search for E-Manage Ultimate, and see the tuning threads.

There is a basemap that comes with it that is fairly good, but you always want to tune out any issues your engine has or risk serious damage.

the stock map that came with the emu is pretty good, fuel was pretty rich, somewhere around 10.5 afr under boost.

problem I had was the numbers randomly changed, it wasn't consistent for me. Also I think the timing was too advanced, I had some pinging with it.

Thanks, I'm reading through the threads, probably should have just done that from the get go, but if anyone has any insight I'd love to hear any. It seems like the greddy kit is pretty practical for what I'm looking for.

any kit you need to budget tuning. You MUST tune any turbo kit you install no matter what. There will always be tuning.

Look up a guy called "Romeo" who blew his engine with the GReddy kit because he street raced before getting it tuned.....

Nah. I don't have anybody blocked at the moment. Everyone that was on that list is now banned, anyway.
I don't have enough long-term memory to hold a grudge...
