Nitrous+RENISIS=Blown seals??
Hey, recently been offered a Zex nitrous kit for cheap, but i have always been under the impresion that thats certain death for the reneisis, but i see quite a few thread on nitrous installs.. So just a couple questions, 1st how long can i expect to run nitrous before i blow the seals( already have had one replaced less than a year ago, maybe 20k miles ) and what kind of kit should i be looking at? the kit my friend has is a wet type 10pnd bottle
Anyway thanks for the advice/knowledge...

The nitrous men are Charles R. Hill and Easy_E1, you should wait patiently for their advice
Anyway everything depends on the jets you will be using, the install quality and the use you will do of the kit.
It's the same as asking "will FI blow my engine?". The real answer is "it depends".

i did alot of research last night, it seems that just a 300 dollar kit would actually end up turning into about 1200 or so to do it right..still cheaper than turbo, but not my fund catagory at the moment..

the question is how much do YOU know about nitrous...and will you be able to diag a engine problem yourself or will you just run it till it stops running then bitch about the rotary engine?

Ive been running the 75 shot with the 65 jets and 55 jets no problems same as ray. Easy is just AT so its a little different thats why he has blown 2 or 3 Intake manifolds.
short story just spray in 2nd and up, 1st is a little too well dumb. i did the 75 out the hole it just seems like its trying to correct itsself rather than moving burning faster, but once 2nd is reached the 75 with the 65 fuel jets work great. its your car just listen to pings.
also waiting on the BHR ignition kit then i'll just run 75 jets with the 75 fuel jets, really dont think you'll pop a motor if your smart about it. im no pro bout it but with a few hours with talking to ray thats why i bought it 2 years ago. no regrets at all.

Most of the feedback I here in regards to nitrous are positive. BHR has a nice Zex setup that comes complete with everything you need. Plus you will get the infinite knowledge of Charles R.Hill as a bonus with your purchase. As for install it really pretty easy from the DIYs I've seen. I plan on installing the Zex kit myself. I just have other things ahead of this on my personal list.
