Noise levels with Greddy turbo?
How much louder is the 8 with a Greddy turbo? The intake looks like a 'filter on a stick', similar to the K&N Typhoon.
I had to take off the Typhoon because it was way too noisy...the REVi is much better, and it draws air in from outside the engine compartment. However, it doesn't look like the Greddy kit can be easily modd'ed to accomodate the REVi.
So, is the Greddy intake as ear-piercing as the Typhoon?

No. The turbo is in the way. All of the noise from the throttle body has to pass through the cold-side of the snail before it hits the filter.
Exhaust side is more quiet for the same reason.

I agree, I have SR Motorsports high flow cat with resonator and SR Motorsports exhaust system and the car was definitely louder before the turbo. I am surprised how quiet the car is now.
