Normally aspirated hp?

Anyone increased compression on the RX8 rotary?
My old drag experience was forced induction did not give the best 1/4 mile times.
Higher compression and more intake/exhaust flow were always the keys to drag racing. This does require less ignition advance and higher octane.

I come from a tunnel ram/dual 4's day of drag racing.
My high school friend had a RX3 with a 4 barrel Holley, header and a narrowed 12 bolt rear end.....

not that i'm aware of. at any rate, there may not be much of a point to seeking higher compression.

welcome and do a search...

quick info all found via searching...

the most seen N/A so far is ~220 whp...reflash of ECU is required...

normal n/a mods do not do much as mazda fine tuned most things from the get go...

for any real power you need to go FI...300-400whp is where that currently sits...

tuning a rotary is different than a piston engine...same rules do not apply here most of the time...
