nx question

i am having a 75 dry shot of nx installed into my 04 rx8 is anyone out there done this b4.. or know of anyone who has and had any problems with nitrous im gettin more learry and leaning towards the turbo ...and i kinda want to do both..have anyone done this..any info would be a help..thanx alot

I believe this is with a wet kit, dry kits seem like bad news.

yeah i was thinkin that a wet kit was the way to go...but the guy doin the work keeps assuring me that a dry kit is much better...ive never heard of a dry kit being better.

I did it and i was on a dyno with the ric shaw ecu and it didnt sound good looked like the engine was taking a major beating so i dropped to a 50 shot also the shop said the same thing Who have major experience with nitrous.. i just didnt feel safe with a 75 thats just me.

Almost forgot my run with the nitrous got me 247 to the wheels that was my best run. 245
was my lowest if i remember right..

There was a guy on here that ran a 75 shot when he was bone stock. Worked fine. Some people dial in the timing & A/F ratios for the engine using aftermarket EMS, advancing the timing & AF curves giving them better hp across the board, but can only run 50 shots (i.e. had 180 whp stock, with intake, hi-flow cat, EMS, cat back exhaust they have 200+ whp, then add a 50 shot of nitrous but are running at 200+ whp regularly). Haven't seen anyone with tuned EMS that ran the 70-75 shot yet.

worked find no way the guy who did that sold his car because the engine was going i bought some of his stuff but then again he was running it with the canzoomer he even ran a 100 shot ..
