Been turbo since 1,200 miles, stock GReddy kit with Profec-S, I then upgraded to MazSport: Int-X, 680/750/290 injector setup and fuel pump. Started boosting 10psi. At 25k miles I added the Ignition solution. Ran this setup for 10k more miles. I now recently upgraded to custom SFR turbo kit.

Unusual thing happened today . My tune went really rich for some reason . I checked my ltft and found it was at +1.6 when it normally runs around -2.4 . After several kilometers of driving it all of a sudden goes back to normal -2.4 .
I have one theory : my IATs were at about 45deg C for a while . Perhaps the computer richens up the mixture if it sees high IAT's until things have stabilised .
Anyone seen this before ?

Hey guys. I finally achieved 400g's, and it happened @8000rpm. I posted the datalog over in the pettit owners thread. I was thinking about using more aggressive timing in the midrange, than what comes from Mazda. Thoughts??

Brettus, it sounds like you have a tune that is pretty spot on. Regardless of the reason why that happened, its not a big deal. You could be right about the reason. Or you found a section of your MAF(a la voltage) that maybe you hadn't seen enough of to realize it needs an adjustment there.

ok I have to get this off my chest first....please resize that pic, it's huge and messing up the screen....
ok, now down to business:
Recently I took off my aftermarket FMIC to switch back over to the GReddy one....it was too big and sat crooked....it was bothering me...lol. Anyways I noticed a small amount of oil in my pipe coming from the hot side to the intercooler....is this an indication of my turbo going out?

i thought the AP was supposed to hold its calibration for good in turboed applications
seems like mine did, the calibration i had after getting tuned at the dyno seemed to change after about a week and i began to run lean in boost, then i reflashed the same calibration again today and things went back to normal and good in boost.
i explained it better in my build thread...

you are right in what you though konig, i suspect theres something more to it than the calibration got skewed or "adjusted it self" in the sense of how the EMU did with many people in early days
