I dunno, but putting a resistor across the sensor is not the way to do things.

I meant for using instead of using the KL sensor...it would be a lot easier to do than to go through all the f'ing around with the whole KL thing. There must be some kind of thermocouple that would work

Definitely DO NOT do that. Read that whole thread.
Kane is talking about the remote IAT sensor post-boost that I did (as did Brett) using the IAT from a Mazda KL-03 VAF.
Yeah I am - I think we all need to cave in to the fact that Flashing is the Future.... well for most of us anyway. And as such; we need to work to get our stock PCM to see as much accurate info as is possible.

Might want to segregate that list up a bit into actual builds/advances/interactive and some of the "wanna-bes".
It doesn't really make sense to have folks like Fluid Motorsports, Baysj, PaulMasoner, Shinka213 or tubingchamp Since in that list they haven't (or can't) actually provide any data (some for obvious reasons).
That is, if I understand the point of this list.

I see your point; I may have to move some things around later - but the overall goal is to get documentation on everyone who we can. Even if some folks didn't do thier own install or tuning; they will still have a lot of observations that may help the rest of us out.

Like in Paul's case - while he doesn't have boost yet - he has helped with mine (on my 3rd uninstall/re-install); and because he does have the "goods" in hand - will be highly motivated to contribute to our findings.

PS - Added Dan into the mix. Now - help me with your Int-X findings yo!!!

Mine wont be as simple as assembling parts I'll be hacking up the AEM for intake/MAF tube use.... ok you're right - I'm basically just assembling parts

Kane you know this wont evolve into a build thread until June, but so far its kind of a very messy thought process if it helps.... I kind of always intended to clean it up one day but i dont know how realistic that is

Nah - just start a new one when you get home.

The parts list once completed will be a nice to have though.

I don't know when I'll be added to this list, I'm still getting money to put all the bits together, and get it dyno-tuned. My setup so far is a Franken-kit with a Garret GT2871R (I think I'm the only person using this turbo?), GReddy manifold and piping from their turbo kit, AEM cold-air-intake, AccessPORT, upgraded intercooler, silicone connectors, and Profec B-spec 2 boost controller. I have all the parts, I just need to install my gauge pod, gauges, and intake before I get started on the turbo.

When I get started on the actual install I will make an install thread and take some pictures. Is there anything in particular people would like to see or have documented during the process?

I have a Esmeil kit installed about 80%. Will have it all done hopefully by the end of January! lol Its too cold in Iowa to work on a non-heated garage. Idk if i count, but i have plans to try and hit the same 400+whp Esmeril did.
