Since I was taking some phone-cam pics anyways, I thought I'd take a few extra that would fit perfectly here!
This is my second try at having a reliable turbo'd rx8. Without MAJOR help and generosity from a fellow member here, I would have thrown my car in the trash. I got help stripping off my kit (well, he probably pulled ten bolts for every one bolt I pulled) and I'm about to put everything back on my car, hopefully with some supervision.
Here are some parts I just got back from KOOL COAT ceramic coating:

Oh and thanks for the kind words.
I have the Greddy turbo kit, with an upgraded Greddy turbo from fluid.

Much thanks to all the Overlords dedicated to pushing *knowledge* to facilitate successful boost projects & better RX8 community.
I would be very interested in seeing a alongside each Overlord's details a *date stamp* of miles driven on your FI motor. Can't think of a better way, *given all the variables* to illuminate an important measure of a successful boost.

Well I'll be picking up a spare Garrett T04E 60-1 P-Trim as I have reason to believe the seals on my MP T70 may be shot.
It only seems to smoke after a hard pull though. There is no shaft play @ all neither
What are some reasons for premature seal failure?

Well I should also add while doing some maint on car a while back I did notice some oil in IC piping. Also I'm consuming more oil than usual had to fill up w/2 quarts the other day just after I did a oil change 3 weeks prior.
Don't the seals on a turbo require + air pressure via the compressor to keep oil from seeping past them?
When I swap out turbos I'm going to run checks on my feed & drain lines. Need to install a inline oil pressure gauge on my feed line.

Well yeah that does sound like a blown turbo....
I was helping a guy tune his 7 with a T70 that was actually missing a rear oil seal - and that thing smoked so bad that it looked like a smoke screen.

Not sure if psi alone is the deciding factor for injectors since different turbos flow differently, so I leave it to the wiser men to answer concretely.

My inclination would be to go with larger Secondaries AND P2's. You don't want all of the fuel being added to the secondary ports. I think 1000cc's into the secondaries with stock small P2's wouldn't be as good as medium Sec and P2's.....
Will depend on what EMS you are using as well...They will all add additional fuel differently.
That's been one of my beefs with the first iteration of flash tuners....the ability to add fuel where you want it is governed by the stock ECU's fueling scheme. I'm hoping that will be one of the things that can be altered at some point with these systems.......till them I'm back to wiring my standalone

Esmeril kit gives 2 1000cc injectors to replace the secondaries. I think Chris is running 14 psi or more currently. But I don't know if that's overkill by a lot, or just enough. ::shrug::

I know 730cc P2 injectors will get you close to 400-rwhp. 1000cc's are a bit overkill for anything under 350-365rwhp.
