I get little fluctuation in the maf at idle but normally they are under 1g/s and it follows the TPS if it is over 1g/s in variation. compare the fluctuations to the throttle position and see if they are related.

I'm not using a maf screen as my intake seems to work best without on

I'm half way to my new MAF pipe that is pushing the limits (only 4" long) it will be interesting to see if it will work.

Yeah my TPS doesn't change... 2% all the time.

Load changes - but I am reasoning that is an effect of the MAF fluctuations.

My idle is 19" when I start it cold and goes down to 16" once it is warm, too.
Actually, it sometimes goes as low as 15" (with no loads).

My compression is high.

/\ pretty much the same as mine - premix seems to stop it going below 16"

Probably a combination of intake restriction and exhaust pressure.

except it's like this in na and fi form. and i'm currently NA with exactly the same setup, and my engine has all new seals and housings with less than 4k miles on them.

I do see -24" when engine braking though

i get 18 at idle(warm engine) with 1/2 oz premix/gal. and 18 at 2K with no load on the engine(a/c, full lights etc).
vacuum is actually higher on a cold rotary than a warm one?

How often are yall looking at your w/m injectors? crud can build up on them--cleaned mine 2 days ago--one was almost occluded. Couldnt tell it by my temps.

AZ

Also of importance - I am at 1000 feet of elevation.
When I go to LA, or someplace low, my vac goes up quite a bit.
I'll get a new number in two weeks.

What the hell is going on down there?!?!
Between the crap in your gas and fuel pump filter and your W/M nozzles, I'm starting to think you live in a mud bog.

I have my W/M nozzle out from time to time and its always pristine.

What are you pouring in there?
