Oil treatments

Anyone tried, or can recommend oil additives for the 8 :o
There's Nulon , Slick 50 etc
Have read some conflicting views

Don't use Slick 50, it will coat the rotors and housings with teflon and create problems with the Apex seals sealing. As a general rule, you shouldn't use any additives for the oil.

all of the additive companies have been sued by the FTC for failing to provide bona-fide scientific proof that their products work as advertised-ALL of them...

The only additive i use is for the fuel. Pettit Racing sell's Protek R that is a fuel
additive. 4 oz. per 12 gallons of gas. It help's the side seal's lubricate and
rotor housing. It is made by klotz.

These are 2 stroke engines by design. They do burn oil.

no they're not. they are 4 stroke. they burn oil but that has nothing to do with the combustion cycle.
