OK Turbo Kit Legality

I am interested in putting a turbo kit into my 8, though I am unable to find any indication of its legality or otherwise for the state of Oklahoma.

Please advise with a link of somesort, as I am unable to find a definitive answer.

Cheers.

Do you do emissions tests in your state? Even so i dont believe its illegal unless you have a 3inch midpipe. I could be wrong though.

Cheers!

I do realize that asking about OK regulations when I live in California is a bit strange. I assure you all it was for the Betterment of Science. That and I might move.

OK OK emissions

There are no emissions tests in Oklahoma at the moment, may change back to that though at any time since its been in state legislation for years since they removed them. You can pretty much modify your car however you want here with the exception of a few more noticable things such as blue or red lighting on the outside of the car or within view while driving (the actual light). That was a hard "impersonating an emergency vehicle" to get out of. Although, I recommend that if you are moving to Oklahoma, to put your suspension back to stock as the roads here are very unforgiving on a lowered suspension. And even if you have highly modified suspension I wouldn't recommend keeping it installed as the roads will most likely greatly reduce the life of it.

Good advice. The roads are one of the things I am dreading (even with stock suspension) if and when I move.

Yes the roads are absolute poop here and i am lowered which made it worse. But i still think its worth it because a lowered 8 looks so much better.
