I threw out the idea to Cam today about a 2 speed blower drive pully and we started digging around in some parts and figured out how to do it. What would you guys think of working out the details on getting it to market, it wouldnt be over night but if I get enough intrest it might be in the next year.

Well, the idea is to push 10 or so psi under 4 or so k then have it down shift when the boost raises past a certain point. Maybe with a pressure switch.

Moon, Have you guys installed a kit on any 2009's--or have any customers that have wanted one for a 2009?

I ask b/c I am contemplating trading my 2005 up for a 2009 (or possibly a 135i) , and was wondering if many significant changes need to be made to the kit or the tunes to work with the "new" Renny. Would it be nothing more than a new flash? If so, any ideas on when that might happen?

yeah. I was having problems with the 3 to 4 shift and thought my tranny was screwed. I installed a reinforced clutch pedal and that took away 95% of the problem. I still think my synchros are a little worn, but I no longer worry about the tranny.
